dcccd disbursement 2016 - Financial aid awards will be disbursed by the Business Office according to the regulations of each award program. Please refer to the question "How and when will I receive my financial aid money" in the Get Help section of the Web site for information on how and when aid is disbursed during each award period.

How long will it take to get my loan money?

Beginning 10 days from the start of the semester, DCCCD credits your student account at your college with your financial aid awards.

Next, any tuition you still owe to the college is deducted from the amount credited into your account. Your college then verifies your enrollment information and validates your eligibility to receive payment. Under federal regulations, DCCCD has up to 14 days to complete this part of the process. Once verification takes place and your eligibility is cleared, your funds are released to eRefunds.
