KDF GSO CADETS 2016 RECRUITMENT 2017
SERVICEMEN & WOMEN GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be Kenyan citizens, Aged between 18-26 yrs, Have a mean grade of D (plain) in KCSE, Should be physically and medically fit,  Have no criminal record, Minimum height 5ft 3in ( 5′ 3″ ), Minimum weight for men 54.55 kg & 50 kg for women and Female candidates must not be pregnant.
GENERAL SERVICE OFFICER (GSO) CADETS REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be Kenyan citizens, Aged between 18-26 yrs, Should be physically and medically fit, Have no criminal record, Minimum height 5ft 3in ( 5′ 3″ ), Minimum weight for men 54.55 kg & 50 kg for women and Female candidates must not be pregnant.
In addition, candidates must have a minimum of mean grade B (plain) in KCSE up to university degree with minimum subject grade of C+ (plus) in English, Mathematics and in any one of the Pure Sciences (Physics, Chemistry or Biology).
SPECIALIST OFFICERS REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be Kenyan citizens, Aged between 18-29 yrs, Should be physically and medically fit, Have no criminal record, Minimum height 5ft 3in ( 5′ 3″ ), Minimum weight for men 54.55 kg & 50 kg for women and Female candidates must not be pregnant at recruitment.
Vacancies: Medical doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Nurses, Public Health Officers, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Nutritionists, Clinical Psychologists, Lawyers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Electrical Technicians, Mechanical Engineers, Marine Engineers, Civil & Structural Engineers, Education Officers, IT Specialists, Chaplains & Imams, Journalists.
In addition, candidates must be registered with the relevant statutory body where applicable and minimum 2 years working experience.
TRADESMEN & TRADESWOMEN ( ARTISANS/TECHNICIANS)
Candidates must be Kenyan citizens, Aged between 18-26 years, Should be physically and medically fit, Have no criminal record, Minimum height 5ft 3in ( 5′ 3″ ), Minimum weight for men 54.55 kg & 50 kg for women and Female candidates must not be pregnant at recruitment.
In addition, TECHNICIANS must have a mean grade of C (plain) in KCSE, a relevant diploma or above from a recognized institution and be registered with a relevant statutory body where applicable while ARTISANS must have a mean grade of D+ (plus) in KCSE & either a relevant certificate with Government Trade Test Grade III or Craft III from a recognized institution.
KENYA DEFENCE FORCES CONSTABULARIES RECRUITMENT
Candidates must be Kenyan citizens, Aged below 52 years, Be physically & medically fit, Have no criminal record, Be ex-defense forces servicemen / women in the army air force or navy, Posses a Discharge Certificate of minimum ” Very Good ” in conduct and Must have served at least 3 or 9 years color service.
