kdf shortlisted tradesmen - Did you apply for the KDF Recruitment? The much awaited KDF recruitment exercise took place between 19th September 2016 to 18th October 2016 at various centers countrywide.

After the conclusions of the recruitment exercise, candidates have been shortlisted for interviews as Tradesmen/Women.
Notice to all Short listed Candidates

“The candidates are required to report to Langata Barracks- Nairobi on 24th October 2016 at 8.00 am. Successful candidates will be considered for recruitment into the Kenya Defence Forces. All candidates are required to bring with them original National identity card, academic and professional certificates, curriculum vitae and any other testimonials. Feeding and accommodation will be provided during the interview period. Unsuccessful candidates will be reimbursed reasonable road travelling expenses subject to production of proof in accordance with KDF regulations. Candidates can check their names in the Daily Nation October 17th 2016 from pages 32-37″

Requirements for KDF Recruitment

The force was targeting to recruit 2000 individuals to various positions according to the Vice Chief of Defence Forces Lieutenant-General Joseph Kasaon. The slots would also be distributed equally.

The candidates were required to be Kenyan citizens aged between 18 and 26, be physically and mentally fit, and should also not have criminal record. However, thousands of candidates were locked out of the short listing for failing to meet these requirements.
